JV Volleyball Gets 2nd Place at Coopersville Quad

The JV volleyball team finished 2nd to Forest Hills Eastern at last weekend’s Coopersville Quad tournament.  This was the first tournament for coach Brooks and his young squad which includes 4 freshman.  The Huskies won their pool with victories over Grant, Ravenna and Kent City, then routed Wyoming Park in a bracket play quarterfinal.  Next [...]

Huskies shutout Northview 5-0 in District opener

As expected, the FHN girls rolled over Northview, 5-0 in their opening round district match at Forest Hills Eastern Field.  Next up for the Huskies is a much anticipated matchup with rival East Grand Rapids at Greenville.  Game time is 5:45 Wednesday night.
